Re: Crop Duster's Association

I love what you're doing Curtis. Keep up all that you do. I have laid by the wayside for the last six months and have not ran the SIM since about Christmas. I still would like to finish building the route I began about two years ago but everything else has gotten in the way. I would love to hear fro...

Re: Crop Duster's Association

Hi Curtis I has been a while since I have done anything with my project. It's nice to see that you are still trudging along with a small idea of mine and so far as I see it, I surely appreciate your work. I have not tested the CDP that you just sent, however, it shall not be long. I still would like...

Re: Problems

Ethan To get your photos on this forum is not hard. Many times you don't need Imageshack. Here is an example: Use your printkey to get the pic. *1 - Save it to your desktop (or a chosen folder somewhere) *2 - When you "reply" to a message or open a thread, just look below the big white spa...

Re: Crop Duster's Association

Hi Curtis As you can see by the foto below, the bridge track turned out just fine. Thankyou very much. Once I put them to work on a few of the bridge-splines that I already have renovated, I will send a new foto of the finished product. Bridge Track.jpg (Couldn't figure out the right size, so 800x60...

Re: Crop Duster's Association

I see your point Curtis. Good idea. I'm not sure how to model the ties into the bridge since that would be an undertaking for each one. However, having two types of bridge rail would seem more suitable for me. If I've missed the point, let me know. I have noticed that some of the plate girder...

Re: Crop Duster's Association

:D Curtis, you're a good man, bud. Thanks for the offer. I have included a couple of textures that have come from Ben Dorsey and all I did was to shade one up a little to resemble more of a Redwood version. As far as the length of the ties - I guess they should be about the size of your Ophir Mine T...

Re: Crop Duster's Association

Hey Curtis I'm surprised, but glad to see you're still at it. Surprised - Because it has been a little while. Glad - Because I wondered if it would "get off the ground eventually" Since my last entry, the PC crashed (got too greedy with some freebies and found a few pieces of bacteria ! ! ...

Re: About 30ng Track & Rail

Curtis
I am amazed
All it took was a little advice in the right direction and !voila! it works.
Changing a few items really helped and now they show up fine in Surveyor and
work well. I haven't tried the mini-map yet but I'm sure it probably works as well.

Re: About 30ng Track & Rail

Hi Curtis I had a slim feeling about not getting an answer about the editor. That's fine. The tracks from Davids site are from the "30ng track packs" and of course they are all '06 versions and as they open up with the config files in the editor, they all look fine with the proper info. No...

About 30ng Track & Rail

Greetings Gents ;-) You're right, it has been a while, but I'm still here. I'll explain another time why. I have a question - Since I have downloaded David's 30ng rails and track (not to mention a few other things as well), I cannot change the config just right so it will show up in my very old TRS2...

Re: Bad News

Hi Ethan Perhaps what I am about to say may have already registered with you anyway. But, since I don't know that fershure, here goes - find the quickest way to do a backup for your system / game before this happens again. Usually once is all it takes to become smarter. Good Luck, bud  Ken 8)

Re: From TRS'06 and Higher . . .

Curtis :D I am always drawn to amazing people. Today is no different having your answer help me out. Ever since '06 has been out, I have struggled with the onset of conversion to '04. Today marks a paradigm shift in my current knowledge base. You are now my most favorite person in Trainz-land. I hav...

From TRS'06 and Higher . . .

Greetings All Since there has been a profuse amount of 30ng rolling stock to become available, I've noticed that it has been produced with newer versions of Trainz. (DUH ! - that's obvious) Some of us are die-hards and won't budge from the ever-stable '04 version. Me, among them. I do have a ...

Re: Train(s) in movies

Hey Mac These are some very good comments about the trains in movies. However, they seemed to have left out one of the more meaningful trains ever recorded as far as the impact it had among the European travelers from Paris to (Wherever), can't think of the other city - We have all heard of the Veni...
