Re: New website prototype

Thank You Curtis too for the background info so to speak. Hope I wasn't to nosy, I sort of been looking up to your site as one good functioning one, and saw a way to get some of the ideas behind it in this thread while also giving my opinion as asked for. :) I remember when I wanted to start my webs...

Re: New website prototype

Hi Curtis, Your welcome with the small feedback I made. :) Had another look today and I think your are getting there! I love the bluish (I know, it is probably called another color name, but I'm being simple in my English this morning) color showing which link I'm over at any time! I think the brown...

Re: New website prototype

Hi Curtis, I had a quick look at your new web look, and only thing I sort of reacted not fully great to was the little to dark background color on the left side where the various links, navigation stuff was. It felt a little to dark brown, but, the right side is perfect. :D I can understand the wish...

Re: I've reached the end of the road!

Hi Ethan, Don't be sorry, your not letting me down, I just got caught by surprise. I run Trainz on an computer that is from 2004, and old AMD with a somewhat newer graphic card on it (as the one I had in there at first, one of the two fans came out in pieces one day...) It means I have low frame rat...

Re: I've reached the end of the road!

Hi Ethan, I can understand fed up with Trainz, abandon routes under building, removing Trainz from computer - but, I can never understand why people, and you now - seem to want to delete all the posts they made during their time with Trainz. But, it's your decision, so no problem really. Sorry you l...

Re: Sweetwater Mountians Narrow Gauge Railroad

Hi Ethan, From the description it sounds like a fun place to visit, I wish I could go look at the pictures too, but being on a really slow Internet line that suddenly might just stop working (if I'm lucky I get maybe 5kbps) I better postpone the looking until I get home sometimes around the 9th of M...

Re: Bodie & Benton Ground Breaking

Hi Ethan, Regarding Mark and the Gilpin Tram, last I heard was that if anyone could seriously spend time working on it and make it more ready, Mark would be willing to let them as he had no time for it, or if I remember correctly the right word, energy for it. My computer is to old to run the Gilpin...

Re: Bodie & Benton Ground Breaking

Hi Ethan, I'm not sure if this is the mill you talk about, but I know there are drawings for this one online, in great size for printouts or whatever. "Standard Gold Mill, East of Bodie Creek, Northeast of Bodie, Bodie, Mono County, CA" A link I have is this one http://memory.loc.gov/ammem...

Re: 2009 track

Nice, very nice look! I'm glad to see the useful track building stuff new for TS2009 being explored, I think you done great job her Curtis just by looking at the pictures and using earlier experiences with your stuff - but I've downloaded the track too so will have a walk around and over it in Train...

Re: Where to Download at??

Hi Curtis, Wow, thank you for digging into this track thingy. I can feel some of the old "lust" coming back, and when you have found out what you have, I think it will be easier as I now know it can be done - as you did it. :D Before I was only told it could be done, but none had made it w...

Re: Where to Download at??

Hi Pencil, It was the LOD tree part that finally killed my effort of figuring out the full effect and use of it when I stopped my work on the tracks I was working on. I was told several time s that yes, it was possible to have random high polygon meshes showing, but was unable to find out how, and n...

Re: Where to Download at??

Hello, Your welcome Ethan, even if I didn't bring the best of news. :| Curtis, it is the plan, to bring the use of the new track system into Gilpin, but I need to relearn the things I figured out last year as I haven't worked on the tracks for months now and feel rather lost in there. It's mainly te...

Re: Where to Download at??

Hello Ethan, Do you talk about the 2' Gilpin Tram in Colorado? Because if you do, there are from my understanding no other Trainz route out there but the one worked on by Mark Baldwin at http://www.gilpintram.com - and that one is not ready yet. I had a talk with Mark earlier this year, he have had ...

Re: Maybe this might help me - mining stuff related

Thanks guys, Tunnels, oh no, not those dark damp narrow tunnels, you have any idea how hard they are to make... (In real life at least) LOL Yesterday after my post I revisited this model of mine: Mountain Favorite (unreleased)2.jpg And then had to test how it look inside of Trainz - which was...
