Re: Canadian Pacific's Mountain Sub circa 1887

It's a good route, though I couldn't help but immediately replacing the track with a procedural attached-ballast version. I believe I used the Swedish track, which is one of the best I've found so far. As far as fueling points, every town wouldn't be a bad idea for water! XD Otherwise, though, you c...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

So there are some new things released here. http://trainz-forge.com/p/new-releases Some of them I have shown here. I think it's pretty aight; you might give it a download and a run. Oh, and there is also some new Exposition Flyer pack in the payware section. Maybe check that out too, I dunno.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Heh. Being a TF man, I'm spoilt for 0-8-0 skins, since a couple of our members have Simulatortrain's amazing reskin kit. But it's perfectly serviceable, so why not. As for myself, just back from Oregon again. Got to visit the Portland Saturday market and Seaside for the first time, and return to the...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Indeed - I'm still looking at making some SP variants, which was my original reason behind asking. That and a baked SD9 is just too good to pass up. Cole (Montanawestren) was kind enough to do me a WVRR GP-9, so now I've got a decent '50s fleet. It'll grow a little more as I get more road switchers ...

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

As far as roster information goes, that's not really an issue. I've got a couple of YVRR books (constantly looking for more) and so once I have a base model I can build just about anything. The only thing that would give me trouble is #11, mostly because very little information exists on it.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

I am trying to achieve that...
Linda had an ore car with that script setup; I've replicated the design but it doesn't function for whatever reason. I sent it to Zec Murphy to correct the script.

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

Heh. A question for you, why didn't you make the YVRR #22? According to my source the 22 was Identical to the 23. Made by BLW 3 months earlier but with identical specs. The reason is in your answer: BLW. I do intend to build #22 at some point, but there are numerous differences. Additionally, the d...

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

Heh. It was an interesting idea.
I concur about the trees...they're far too robust to mimic Ponderosas - the shape is rather more reminiscent of a young Cedar if you ask me. Speaking of which, I need to ask around about getting some incense cedars made. :D

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

Doesn't look as much like the YVRR though - at least not as much like the Briceburg-El Portal section I drove today. The trees are selected more for appearance than species, and as much as it irks me (that's not how I like to work), it gives a better experience. Typically the trees I saw were at mos...
