Re: Oh yay!

:)
I never did get around to rebuilding them properly, but at least they work again. The last three should be up in a day or two.

Re: Not to be a pest about T:ANE

Well, I had been hoping to rebuild the moguls using Mike's plans, but it's been long enough and I still haven't done it, so I'm patching the old versions so they at least look reasonable in TANE. Some are on the DLS now, and the rest should be up 'soon'.

Re: 1920s stuff

I almost have the stake truck done; it should be available Soon(tm). I also found some smoothing issues with the dump trucks, so I'll upload a fixed version of those, as well. I'll probably add an attachment point for a passenger, but not include one in the model. That way, anyone reskinning these t...

The Dodge is also progressing; I've finished the seats and am working on the roof.

Re: 1920s stuff

OK, trucks should be done - including the product load:
http://carsoncarshops.com/files/mack_dump.cdp
I'll put these on the DLS in a couple days if no issues.......

I did change the KUIDs of the two drivers, so you might want to delete the old versions of them.

Re: Train Order Board aspect scripts.

Yes, it does - nice job!

You could always try lod'ing the light, using a larger light mesh as you get farther away.....

It almost seems like you might want to use an event file and listen for those messages ( http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/inde ... nt_Message )?

Re: 1920s stuff

I'm missing <kuid:124060:29019> which I suspect is the empty truck mesh that was in the earlier release. Oops  that should be fixed now, sorry about that! The new driver also needs a little work - his hands are spread a bit far at the moment...... Never mind - fixed now..... I would like to s...

Re: Train Order Board aspect scripts.

GetMeshAnimationFrame takes a parameter (the name of the mesh with the animation), right?

What are you trying to do with the script?

Re: 1920s stuff

Sorry about the delay; the trucks have been updated with higher-resolution textures (same link as above). The normal map is still low-res; I'll try and see if I can tell any difference with a high one this week.

Re: 1920s stuff

OK, if I get a chance, I'll re-upload the trucks w/ higher resolution textures tomorrow. The steam shovel is by Jananton - he did a couple versions.

Re: 1920s stuff

I originally had the texture resolution one step higher, but was worried that the file size might be too much for a single vehicle. I'm certainly open to reconsideration, though - and it looks like I have at least one vote for the higher resolution :)

1920s stuff

Here I'll post intermittent progress on 1920's scenery items that I'm making for my V&T route; which I have set in 1923. First up is a set of Mack dump trucks. I have two base versions - on with a load of dirt, and one without. There's a parked version of each, a static version with a driver, and a ...

Re: Canadian Pacific's Mountain Sub circa 1887

As an aside, it looks like the 'Onderdonk's Way' gallery is now gone; a casualty of a website upgrade. It's a shame; it had been there for 20 years (though they did change domains once in that time...) Looks like you found it just in time, Norm!
