Rick "thegrindre" Hargraves

Today, I have the unpleasant task of bringing some bad news. Over this past weekend, our friend 'the grindre' suffered through a devistating apartment fire and lost everything but did get out with his life. Everything is gone and the community of Robinsonville, Mississippi is helping out the best th...

Grindre- After I got to looking at 'em, I think I may have jumped in a BIG pile of it. Unless they wind up being kit-bashed, there are no 3ft versions. We'll have to run the 30" bogeys on our route and hope they won't derail. Think anyone will notice 3" on either side ?? HHHmmmmmmm...

Don't you change a thing Curtis. Grindre and I like what you did and they look just fine. In fact, if you consider making anything else in the 1880 through 1920 era, please use the link and pin. I am a supporter.

Curtis, I'm all set, bud. Got the go ahead from Ben a couple of days ago and he's okay with the renovate. Now, what I have done is convert what you converted initially. Once I finished it, tried it in the Surveyor, it worked smoothly. One minor glitch, it had the Icon "Fruit Company" in th...

CDP Tutorial

First of all, I would like to say that I will publish a somewhat abridged tutorial of this process in this forum beginning the first of next week. Having it written here may be slightly long and take up too much room. However there may be a short cut just for you Grindre. If you'll be online this ev...

Asking for Permission

My next feat will be to change Dorsey's Fruit Company to produce Guiness Ale and Beer on a Pallet. Both of which a...

Changing The Size of General Goods

I've been wondering this dilemma for a while - the general goods that we see on the SG flatcars and boxes looks fine and I believe they are an Auran product. However, there is a huuuge disparity in the size it NEEDS to be if we are running 36ng or 24ng routes. Rick, thegrindre, had posted a thread n...
