Re: Now, here's a UP mail car...

Rick,
It's got a nice bit of a bow in the frame by the looks of it...

Re: For Curtis, or anyone else that has an idea

I posed this question on the Trainz forum about a year ago (as I'd noticed this problem with several different items of rollingstock from different creators) but while other people reported that they'd had exactly the same problem, no-one was able to provide an answer.

As stated in the original post, I've tried both settings with little success.

as a Coal stage: No success whatsoever with various locomotives and tenders.
as Transfer Bins: Only loaded two out of about fifteen hoppers offered for loading.

Gossen Coalstation - Anyone had issues with this??

I've had a lot of trouble getting anything to load with coal from the Gossen Coalstation (2ft track on top). It's also used in the Northbay County layout in TRS06. So far, I've used it in both coal stage and transfer bin mode but all I've had load up from it were two 36 Coal Hoppers (the little ones...

Track Layout for Ol' Time Shortline Terminus...

Folks, I've seen the track plans for small terminii like Minden, Virginia City and other shortline station yards such as those on the YVRR and the GCRR but has anyone got prototype plans for pre-1900 shortline stations? Both SG and NG of course! Minden is a bit limited from an operational point of v...

Nice bit of work there!
It certainly looks spot on for any V&T layout.

Now I know it's just at proof-of-concept phase...but I'll ask the following on behalf of all the WP&Y fans out there: Any problems with or plans for doing a 36" version?

That's a little beauty of a NG flatcar! One question: If the Auran general goods loads are set up for it, will they be horizontal like some of the other NG cars or vertical? I always think the vertical ones look extremely unstable (especially seeing there's no stapping or guy-wires). I know you can'...

One comment regarding the standard Auran "general goods" loads: The vertically loaded version always looks like it's going to topple right off and this appears to be a problem with interactive flat/open wagons/cars around the Trainz world from American gondolas to German flatcars. A few Tr...

Season Greetings to all!

Well folks, We're a bit ahead of the rest of the world time-wise so at 08:50 on 25 December, it's fairly quiet here in train control on the early shift and we've just broken out the Chocolate Santas! To all the members of the forum, thanks for the posts that made us smile, gave us a laugh, shared ou...

Guys, If you're looking for 30" stuff, check out any assets listed as "PBR" or "Puffing Billy". We had 4 (5 if you count one which used horse locomotion) 2'6" lines here in Victoria and one still operates as the Puffing Billy tourist Railway (hence, "PBR"). Wh...

Pencil, Looks veeeerrrry nice! I'm happy to help you test it out. I'm mainly using TRS2006 SP1 but still have '04 loaded. Working Saturday and Sunday (...someone's gotta keep the weekend trains rollin'...) but I'm off duty on Monday and Tuesday so I'll have time to give it a work out and get the fee...

I'll get a copy of the bogey from TPR as suggested. Thanks for the assistance and the links!

Now an 4 wheeler ore car by Whitepass (which looks very similar to the one above) has turned up on the DLS but the relevant bogey doesn't seem to be on the DLS...

Anyone know anything more about it?
