Re: My MSTS models
TRS texture files are 1024 x 1024, and I'm sure we can make them bigger! Thing with MSTS is that it's old! It may have been realistic back in 2001, but it hasn't been updated like Trainz has(at least not officially). Aside from the route editor, here are the other reasons I prefer Trainz: -More real...

Re: My MSTS models
I got into Trainz about half a year after TRS2004 came out. At that time, I was fed up with MSTS's Route Editor, and other related headaches! With MSTS 2's miscarriage, it didn't seem like there would be any hope for me with MSTS, so I seriously began to look into Trainz! And, well, here I am!

Nice! I don't understand why you would want to go back to MSTS, but suit yourself!

Re: I didn't know it was that cold.....
Nice. For 09 it doesn't look much different, boiler's just glossier! Still looks good! Now if only the 4-4-0s were updated...

Well, Ben, yours has the advantage of being made for a more powerful and newer simulator! I think both have their merits!

Re: HO V&T Layout
Well, it's mostly complete, but it is intended to be fairly basic. Sorry to confuse you guys about it being a demo. The route itself is not a demo, but it could be used as such in relation to the V&T route project as a whole. To put it simply, consider pencil's V&T layout. My little layout c...

HO V&T Layout
I know this should probably be in the V&T route forum, but it seems like nobody ever checks that forum these days. I've been making a HO tabletop version of the V&T layout in TS09! It's a simple oval layout that goes from Virginia City to Reno and back. I accurately recreated the VC yard and...

Re: Updated a couple of items on the DLS
Well surely, err... I mean, pencil you could make the boiler and wheels glossier and more rounded... ? That can be done in TRS2004 as well. The glossiness you speak of is not new on locomotives, just ground textures. Likewise, boilers can be made with as many polys as a person wants fo...

Re: Updated a couple of items on the DLS
You may want to move them up to TS2009, taking advantage of the improved graphics capabilites. You maybe should start the ten wheelers when the V&T layout is closer to being finished and then release them together!
