New tutorials are now posted

Hi all, Just a note for those who don't get around to visiting the other forums that I've put together 3 new tutorials and a pretty good link to others at my web site. One's for 3DC users and the other two are for Paint.NET. Here's the direct link; http://www.geocities.com/thegrindre/pagetuts.html H...

Re: 3DC rolling stock in 3' NG

Just a note to say that I've updated my little 36ng Sand Car . It now is equipped with my 'new' couplers and a few other minor changes. I did not change the kuid number so an overwrite will be necessary if you want the change. If you prefer Elvenor's couplers, do NOT DL the latest update. It is not ...

Here's another video I just put together which shows the 'neighborhood', the church and the sidewalks of Cass.

Re: 3DC rolling stock in 3' NG

Gee, Ken, I gotta send you the latest Shay.
If you can completely delete all Shay and it's parts, I can use you as my '04 beta tester for missing parts. It's got 6 or 8 or so, now. This will help me organize everything because I don't change the kuids.
E-mail is good, bud.

Re: 3DC rolling stock in 3' NG

Hi all, I've just released my 'new' log car. It's now at my site and I'll get it up on the DLS and the TPRDD if no issues arise within the next few days. (Direct link, http://www.geocities.com/thegrindre/page91canvas3d.html ) As I've mentioned elsewhere, all 'parts' can be found between the DLS and ...

Thanks.

Here's the final version. Just got to clean up the files and send it to my '06 beta tester for approval.
Release date should be within a few days or less.

Re: 3DC rolling stock in 3' NG

I'm afraid my loco is taking up most all of my time. I do get side tracked occasionally, though, (Pun intended.), and here's the latest WIP I'm working on. The following pics were my base idea; http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/3972/newlogcar2vh3.jpg And, here's my efforts, so far. It's a 20 footer a...

Re: Wooden Rail Project

Well, Ken, not all pole roads used ties. A little Internet research will show that stakes were used to keep them in line and not all were perfectly straight either.
All but the smallest of engines ran on them but mostly horse drawn 'locos' were used. :D
