Hi Mark

If you look at the thread below Help with buildings for the Virginia & Truckee it lists the major landmarks we need. Curtis will post any pics he has in the galleries and I will be posting some from my archives when I get back home after a weekend in the mountains.

Cheers

Help with buildings on the Virginia & Truckee

We could use another member on the V&T team to make Commercial and Residential buildings. Most of the available buildings are for flat ground and what we need are buildings suitable for slopes. For Virginia City we need some of the more recognisable buildings. 1 The Frederick House 2 The Interna...

Hi All

Thanks for the positive feedback. I have sent an email to John about team location. I think because the first article I wrote for VR was about the Sydney Trainzers that he assumed it was that group building the V&T. Hopefully he will correct this mistake.

Welcome aboard. Your NCNG looks great. As far as the slim princess goes you can cut it down to 295 miles to go as we will have about the first 5 miles of it on the V&T. If you have any need for research on the early years let me know as I have quite a bit archived. Also have some GMAX files whic...

Cant wait for Mark to get it finished and released. With my interests in movies and History I was much more appreciative of Gods & Generals, it was obvious the team making it was more experienced after Gettysburg. The cinematography was better, the history more accurate and the acting superb. Ye...

Yes I think you are correct about the movie concept. Marks Gilpin certainly comes to life. I take it you also liked Gods & Generals. I had read the book and thought that it was him who should have won the Pulitzer as it was a far better book than Killer Angels (Gettysburg) by his father. The fil...

Members

Can you delete the last 2 on the memberlist. I keep getting membership admittance emails from totally absurd user names and have no Idea whether it is real or just a commercial site trying to access info. Is there any way I can check on membership applications to verify it is someone from the trainz...

Hi Curtis

Not sure if it is just my machine or not but when one views the Caboose from a distance the bogies turn into grey blocks. Check the 2 versions of Afternoon freight in the gallery.
