Re: Dev tools
I'm using Blender for modeling, Substance Painter and Paint Shop Pro for textures, and Notepad++ for scripting The only downside with Blender is that in Cycles, the texture parameters don't get exported. You need to export with a Blender renderer material - and the Blender renderer is no longer pres...

Re: Issues with 60Ib track and more for Trainz 2010
The DLS has been having problems recently, though they just announced they think the issues are all fixed. It's been a while since I used TS2010, but in content manager, is there a 'show all versions' option when you right-click on something? If so, can you right-click on a specific version and righ...

Re: New TRS2019 Track
Yeah, it's a N3V bug. I filed it quite some time ago, but I'm assuming they have more urgent matters on their plate.

Re: New TRS2019 Track
Always a pleasure! I'll put the track up on the DLS, then. Might take a couple of tries because of all the interconnected dependencies, though....

Re: New TRS2019 Track
Try this and let me know what you think. There are several track variants included; hopefully there are no missing dependencies that aren't on the DLS.....
edit: link deleted; final version is now on the DLS

Re: New TRS2019 Track
OK, I'm not happy with my dirt ballast yet: dirt.jpg But reskinning the ties should be no problem. Note that for my new track, I use two libraries - one for the track itself and one for the ballast. Hopefully this will let people mix and match ballast and track styles a little easier by just changin...

Re: New TRS2019 Track
No problem. I'm assuming you want that with the grey ballast? (It's been a while, I forget which ballast colors I've released and which are still waiting on my hard drive for something....)

Re: Lighting effects for Trainz 2010
Nice model! I like your new crew meshes, also! Would a regular night mesh work? You *might* need a little script to show / hide the day and night meshes, though. As I remember (and it's been far too long since I've worked with night lighting) the day mesh is still shown when the night mesh is visibl...
