Re: 3DC rolling stock in 3' NG

I'm not sure what you mean by "deleteing" stuff, however I am at your disposal.
Would you say this is a Grindre project or a renovate from a previous one ?

Send it on, I'll run it through the wringer. I'll set it up on my 100mph track
and see how fast I can push it. LOLOL

Re: A Slight Request

Hey Smokey Might I just put a slight note in here before Pencil makes his answer. I wondered if you have checked the DLS lately ? This would be only for your information.......... When you type ROUNDHOUSE as a "Description" , there comes 84 responses. About half of those are narrowgauge sp...

Re: 3DC rolling stock in 3' NG

Rick  I looove this car and it runs real good on my PC. The detail is very nice and I know you put a lot of thought into it. So I downloaded it, put it behind your Vertical Shay and ran it around my test track. Thought you'd like to see it from my point of view. Keep up the good work. http:...

Re: Wooden Rail Project

Those poles have to be some very special hardwood. Seems to me the weight
of the locos and cars would keep them cracked. I'm curious what the process
was to make them straight and how they attached to the ties. HHmmmmmmm. :?

Dynamite Shay, John.
I'd say you found your texture and if I had the little gem on my track, I would be
fortunate. Is this one you built ? Perhaps I missed something earlier.
Great job and BTW is it '04 or '06 ?

Re: I just got back from Cass, W.V.

Okay I'll send a few to Image Shack and see what I can send as a few pics. Shouldn't be 10mb and if that close, I'll send a few, then a few more and so on...... I can send you a few to your site if you care to show them. I have a few closeups of #4 pistons. Pretty nice, actually. Thanks for the head...

Rick,
Ole Buddy, Ole Pal, we can share with the world. I went there almost this exact
same time last August and have my movies of being inside the #12 Shay.
That was one great trip and the countryside is gorgeous. We stayed three days.
I'm guessing we have a lot to share. Where did you stay ?

Re: My GMAX locos and cars in 3ft NG

Hey Sam

Darn nice loco. Would it happen to be a 2-6-0 Prairie ?
One suggestion I have is to upload it to TPR Depot unless you have
an eye out for someplace special. Those guys will turn it out
for you in 24 hrs or less. Everything I've worked on goes to them.
Only a very few items go to DLS.

John For what it's worth, I am totally impressed with 2 days work and at this point knowing, for the most part, exactly what it will look like once you're done. It won't matter whether you weather it up or deliver it brand new, I, for one, will be a proud owner. From the old photos I will assume it ...
