Yes Ken.
I made a point of trying to get some kind of photographic record of the
railway/tram topics.
I'll post a selection of photo's in the gallery and then delete them after a couple of weeks.

Majorca:Spain
Last month I went to Palma; the capital of Majroca for holiday. The narrow gauge Soller Railway really impressed me: so much that I spent 4 days travelling on it. Found a really good Youtube Clip of two years ago; but which shows much of what I experienced on the 1 hour trip from Palma to Soller. Mac.

Period Music.-Youtube Link
Collecting some period Victorian Music to use in my 1850's set-up. It's extremely hard to find; but adds greatly to the atmosphere. Lifted one military march from a 60's movie. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ivZ8-nWi9zM The Turkish Army doubled as extra's and their rendition sounds closer to what you...

Virtual Gilpin Movie
Re-cut Mark Baldwin's excellent Trainz video of his Gilpin Tramway Colorado train journey.
Added contemporary soundtrack and shortened length of clip to 7.5 minutes.
Uploaded to YouTube and waiting for them to process it.
Tried to contact Mark Baldwin but no reply from him.

Thanks for the compliments; but it's the 'Builder'/Paul Mace who deserves credit for interperating my vague instructions and comeing up with some cracking Loco's. I would certainly recommend him; if you want a special or a favourite piece of Stock, though the bottom line is, the results are only as ...

Manning Wardle generic Loco.
Image of 3' gauge Loco I designed and had built for me posted in Gallery Section.
I'll use them for Irish Narrow gauge to compliment the huge range of stock that Flander&Sykes do.

New Project
Leith North 1853. I've just sent off a wad of drawings/photo's to my 'Builder' for an early Victorian dockside station. As most of the buildings on the ordinance map are 'long gone'; I've had to design the railway structures from scratch. Add things like signals, advertising.etc and it's a large job...

E' Alexander's - Civil War Railroads and Models-
Thanks for the information Ben.
Have checked Amazon and will probably buy this book.
I also noticed the same author does...
'Down at the Depot'
Railroad Depots 1831 - 1920
This also sounds as though it may be worth getting.
Does anyone have info' on it?
Once again: thanks for the heads up, Ben.
