Re: Playing with Blender

Nice! We've been needing good fill roads of late. Great job with the cattle guards and wood shed too, in the latter case I'd have sworn you remodeled it completely.

Re: Rollins Pass NG36

Was running this line for some time today. http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/012/e/3/trainboi1_20140112_0004_by_trainboi-d71yn4a.jpg #1 wasn't quite at operating pressure but I had planned to let it build up steam. I subsequently got bored and started switching anyway. http://fc02.deviantart.ne...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Nevada County Narrow Gauge #9 has a preliminary texture, I may well be working with a friend in Australia for weathering, and working to get this asset as good as I can. http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/010/4/1/nevada_county_by_trainboi-d6ztfa8.png SPNG #1 coming soon, I still have to map som...

Re: Rollins Pass NG36

Well, Norm, I only really got the route running today(It's dependencies are a lot easier to find than anybody else's routes, thanks for that) and I'm VERY impressed. Grand job on your part, even though I wound up having to use a bunch of 30 inch stuff because I haven't downloaded enough stuff into 2...

Re: Playing with Blender

SWEET! :D This is the thing I missed most from the old 30 inch track, nevermind 3 foot. Rollins Pass really is nice, isn't it? I started running at school today during lunch! Much to the amusement of my friends. Anyway, nice job on the rock walls, they'll be a good alternative to the crib wall I've ...

Re: Rollins Pass NG36

I have a copy of the Baldwin erecting drawing for N-C-O 14 (NCNG 9) if you need any data. I have the drawing for the semi-cylindrical tender as well (the more difficult drawing to find). Sadly, I do not have a scan of this, but rather a full size print of the original drawing. I could attempt to ph...

You can say that again. Trucks are a little annoying, and seeing how often they could be switched it's really tempting to get a near truck and leave well enough alone. :| Looking forward to these though; they'll be a good base.

Re: Rollins Pass NG36

Good that I'll be able to get it; I think I'll be doing NCNG #9 first out of the Model Railroader Cyclopedia I got this morning and it'll need a route to run on when it's done...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

I only just figured out how to edit scripts. Now to test those engines...
Anyway, when I've tweaked the engine to my desires I'll update the Atlantics. There's some other work that needs doing on the #4 so I won't upload an update for it until it's done. I will update US Plywood #11 though.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

I would assume the VC is for Vauclain Compound, as the original 3000-3015 were Vauclain Compounds. They would have a different sound, but these were rebuilt A3s and weren't VCs. The selection on that sound file is a little shaky, as I used a Stephenson sound for an engine with a Walshaerts gear, but...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

OK, didn't catch that. Only 3000 hauled the Daylight service, so it was given the Daylight paint. Strictly speaking, it should have a considerably longer tender than the others too, but I didn't want to got through the bother of making it look good after stretching. I'm not sure what sound is missin...
