Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge

Looks good! For the SD9, you probably ought to put Ben's name on that as the originator. I reworked the mesh a bit, but started with his model and texture.

Re: porter 0-4-0, whTam I doing wrong?

I originally hacked that Porter from a 3' version by Narrowguage. The original is at http://www.trainzone.co.nz/steam.htm#MERCED%204-4-0 See also http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?11764-Gmax-and-The-Porter-Project and http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?11732-Narrow-gauge-0-4-0...

Re: porter 0-4-0, whTam I doing wrong?

Hmmm - if you haven't yet, try making sure a driver is assigned in surveyor. I think old versions of Trainz automagically assigned drivers, but the newer ones don't.

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad

That looks really good! Your scenes are nicely put together; your rockwork is especially nice! Might I ask (if it's not an imposition) what assets you used?

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad

Trainz only supports normal maps; though people often call them bump maps. Norm, try running the mesh through PM2IM - that should clear out textures in improper slots. See http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php/home/utilities/pevsoft-trainz-tools/pm2im for more details on that feature. ...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad

Could be a bad material in an unsupported slot - didn't one of Pev's tools fix that issue?

Looking really good, Kegg!

Neat! I've always wondered what diesels the V&T would have run if they hadn't shut down.

Re: YVRR Jan 2014

I loaded that route up back when it came out, but never bothered to hunt down all the dependencies. If you guys get something working in TANE, that'd be great!

Re: Consolidate to PacificNG forums?

Oh, just the forums only. I'll keep this site up, mark the forums as read-only, and just add a page or something that redirects to PNG with an option to go to these (read-only) forums. As far as I can tell, PNG allows attachments to posts, so that shouldn't change. These forums are just a fair amoun...
