Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge
Indeed! I'm getting on a CP kick, so get your combination cars ready, I'm gonna be working on this and then a caboose for this idea, and Andrew's kindly given me drawings to El Gobernador, so I should be able to do that and the Mastodon class eventually. (not to mention El Goob has some proposed six...

Re: V & T route progress
Heh. I probably wouldn't be the person to help on the route, although it could be ideal to have a team working on this. In any case, it looks brilliant and I look forward to talking more with you in person at the conference.

If you don't, I'm sure some others of us would happily take it on.

Re: V & T route progress
That's looking great! I will definitely be getting TANE before too long, it looks like it's finally getting towards what I properly want from a new version of Trainz. That and I really want some of the VR stock Zec built for it... ...and it would be a real pity if I couldn't use the V&T when it ...

Re: Not to be a pest about T:ANE
Indeed, it does look quite nice. I only wish it was a bit more stable and smooth; many of the creators I know who are trying to work in TANE are just sort of messing around at this point, because errors seem to vary depending on who you ask...I really hope N3V can fix that.

Re: Not to be a pest about T:ANE
That's a mercy, Curtis, I look forward to seeing this in-game(albeit in TS12...I'm probably going to rip your script out completely in favor of LilB's... ).

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge
Thanks Curtis. You know as well as I what the rest of folks can do...Andrew has got me a ton of vectored lining data for these. http://orig07.deviantart.net/c542/f/2015/194/1/9/vt_loco_by_trainboi-d917577.png I've got a few things left to do, apparently the dome wrapper arabesque is wrong and I need...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge
No problem. Further work, this time a little closer to home: http://orig03.deviantart.net/24f9/f/2015/193/6/b/vt_loco_by_trainboi-d912mpj.png Andrew is drawing up new tender lining so that will be great...I took a lot of pieces from my C&C locos, including tender trucks, cab controls, headlight ...

Upgraded to full settings so that I could really show off what these look like: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/695028258268737351/3CBF270BE3EC58386383F1C6BA3DF55FA7A46966/ Thanks again to Curtis for letting me put these out, they should actually be out fairly soon on UKTrainSim. That ...

Experiments in TS2015
Hey all, Those who have picked up Curtis's new 30-inch NG stock may have noticed that I asked him about the possibility of porting what work of his I could into Train Simulator 2015/Railworks. Here is the first result: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/695028258268357842/0EEDBC80AB0AE470...

Re: Trainz 2009 porter 0-4-0 nd others stuff are pitch black
Mike, I can help with any missing content for the NCNG 9 - it's my work after all. Just as a starter, I'd make sure you have the NG 2-8-0 dependencies - they're listed under each of the NCO/NCNG/SPNG/US Navy locos. I'd recommend you look at some of the other stuff on that site too - nothing particul...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge
9mph might be prototypical, just not particularly fun. Besides, these should probably be just a little more powerful. If it's accurate, then Andrew's 8-18C spec would be overpowered! XD Either way, they should be pretty close. Ben Metzger, the site administrator at Trainz Forge, has been in t...

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge
Thanks! I sent a version to Andrew to see what he thought of it today; he's apparently got the spec mostly done. Once he and I finalize the proper credits, I'll upload all the cabs to the DLS, if all goes to plan. I'm sure some narrow-gauge cabs will come in useful, even without a brake stand.

Re: North Tahoe Narrow Gauge
Playing around with my Baldwin 8-22Cs...I would say it's a lot of fun, but it's not. The train was only going 5mph-9mph the whole way up Rollins.
