Tried out the General and the long-link coupler works very well indeed.
Well done!

Any plans to upload a real wood fired version?

Loco Run-Around issue

Folks, I've noticed an issue with a few locos - I've noticed it in the 3ft Cooke Mogul and the two Golden Spike 4-4-0s specifically but it may affect some other locos too but I'll do more testing tonight. When you issue the run-around command, they leave the tender attached to the train! Other steam...

Col, You're welcome! Basically that would mean we'd both be really, really, really grateful if it re-appeared... There would be enormous quantities of gratefulness, heaps in fact... Incredible amounts of gratefulness would be generated by the re-materialization of said ore car... (...Not that this i...

Looks damn good!

If there's a non-V&T version floating around that could become downloadable again.....those of us who weren't lucky (or indeed around)the first time it was available would be very, very, very grateful!

I'll download the General later today and give it a run.

Thanks again!

Ben, Many thanks for that. I have to say that the "own-use-only" period was a lot longer than I had expected. One comment in regard to the link-and-pin couplers (while we're talkin' about 'em) - With Trainz locomotives of the period, it's fairly obvious when the long link over the cow-catc...

ProtoLARS isn't too complex once you've tried it out (and there's a guide on how to use it floating around too). I find it has several major advantages: First, all the cars won't be loaded simultaneously unless you want them to be so loading is far more prototypical. Dropping 4 stock cars at the sto...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the link-and-pin couplers, I just want to have some old-style auto-couplered rollingstock for contrast but most I've seen about is of more recent construction. There must have been a interim period where the bigger roads had moved to autos while other smaller roa...
