To get back on track, I think this is about it. Needs a ladder, a roof walk, and a smoke stack and unless you guys can think of anything else, I'm done.

It'll come in at over 3,000 polys when I add those items;

Image

(Oh, I accidentally knocked the window out while I was building it... )

:D

EDIT: I figured out how to make relatively low poly handrails and foot steps and grab irons, btw.
I'm catching on to this 3D app thing... :wink:

Rick

Are those things tipped a little bit or is that my imagination ? :roll:
And, of course you must know, my imagination flows quite a bit....LMAO

That trackage is a roller coaster to test trucks and couplers and look at the underside to inspect everything... in other words, yes. LOLOLOL

Is this any better?

WHEW ! ! ! ! !LMAO :P :P :P
Sure glad it's not me. Man-oh-man. There must've been a real 'dip' in that rail . . . :shock:

Thanks for clearing that up. :wink:

Well, I think I'm done. Unless you guys find or suggest something, I'm going to release it after making the shadows and art files. I gotta figure out how to do that, still. :roll:

Oh, poly count is well over 4,000... :shock:

Waddaya think?

Well, thanks, guys. :oops: I like to build for my own satisfaction and am glad I'm pleasing all of you, too.
I guess our tastes are somewhat similar. LOL

OK, folks, I'm showing off a 'new' set of four wheeled trucks for the Caboose.

Image

I think they look pretty good. What do you think?

Comments, suggestions, criticisms anyone?

Well, I've dusted the whole car with a light dusting of sand and, of course, a bit heavier in other places.

The Sand Car;

He he, I think it came out pretty cool. How about you?

Thanks Curtis, that little 'personal challenge' has taught me a few more things about texturing in a 3D app.
Paint.NET ain't all that bad for a free graphics editor either.
