WOW  That looks much much better than my first project! It looks even better than the caboose I sent you...

The caboose will look great, I reassure you. :D I have to make coupler pockets, attachment points, and ARN before this goes anywhere. Then I'll probably use someones trucks (cough:Pencil:cough) and release it as freeware (as well as everythinh else I do) :) .

Alright now I've come to the point where I need to start adding attachment points for the the trucks and the couplers. How does one determine the position of the attachment points for a car?

Trial and error, mainly. You could grab the gmax for an existing car and import the attachment points from that (the coupler and limfront/back points will likely need to be adjusted to fit your car length). One potential candidate would be http://www.carsoncarshops.com/files/flatcar_source.zip

Hope that helps!

Okay. I have pretty much completed the flatcar except for the the attachment points for the products, couplers, and coupler attachment points. Now I have moved on to the bulkhead for a little to ease the frustration. And will you look at that; its another health request. I wanted to know what is the exact process of welding vertices.

I apperciate all of your input and insight into helping me along with this project.
