Coming soon - misc stuffz

Post by Pencil »

A set of irrigation ditches, with 4 different ground textures and transitions between them:

Several misc. yard / MoW buildings:

Some desert ground textures:

And a couple of old road bridges:

All have been sent to the DLS, and are awaiting approval.

Very nice Curtis. I especially like the bridges and buildings.
Those colors are real crisp.

I like the irrigation channels. Any possibility of a meandering creek set up in a similar manner? That way it could have eroded banks (I probably have a picture of that if you need it).

I'm also sure those yard buildings will get use somewhere on many of my keep-for-two-months-then-delete-and-start-a-new-one railroads.
Cheers,
Ben

Sure, a meandering creek would be fine. I'll post the ditches when I get home this evening, and you can see if they are the right size, or you'd like something larger / smaller. I believe it's currently about a 5' wide channel (it fits under an 8' bridge - also coming soon - nicely). Also, what ground textures would you like it to match?
A picture of what you are looking for would be helpful, but not required.
Also coming is a 3rd texture set of ng30 track (tan):

Wonderful, just wonderful!

Any chance of getting some old worn dirty greasy track with oil drippings down the center in 30 and 36 ng?

Potentially in ng30, after I finish the standard gauge versions. Ng36, perhaps, but no promises (this stuff has a tendency to grow exponentially ;) )
The irrigation ditches are at http://www.carsoncarshops.com/files/ditches.zip - sorry about the zip format, but I'm playing mostly in TC now, and the CDP2 format isn't backwards compatible to older versions.

OOOOOOO! Me wants! I'm eagerly awaiting that SG track too, it just looks so nice and rusty! I like the first two buildings especially, you never know what I could use it for.

After a week or so, the stuff has finally broken out of the queue - expect to see it all on the DLS in another hour or two.
