Slowly - I've been a bit distracted lately. I'll probably restart again after TS2009 comes out.
I have the majority of the tracks in Reno laid, and have preliminary tracks laid to Steamboat.
The surveyor rulers are a touch inaccurate (about 2-3%, iirc), and so after a couple of miles, the error is noticeable. This appears to be fixed in 2009, though, so I'll start again then (and probably have to re-survey the line from Reno to Steamboat).
As I'm making the majority of the scenery items also, it's going slowly. I figure at least 3 more years if I keep on it....
The time period I'm doing is circa 1918 (although all the rolling stock I've done is for earlier - 1888 or so...)

And how about them Moguls, pencie? Will they make it for the V&T release? Also, you ever consider making V&T 4-6-0 #27? Is it on your list? But it can wait, you work on the V&T layout first, and then the Moguls, and you mind possibly advancing Great Northern's #1 further up on your list?

The moguls should be complete way before the route :)

I have to take my hat of to you for perseverance in building this route.
Definitely the right attitude to have.
