couplers

Post by stealthsteam »

I have been thinking of making knuckle couplers and air hoses in open and closed positions for my projects but I don't know how to make them change from one to the other when coupled and uncoupled.
Can anyone please help me?

Thank you!

By the way if it requires scripting, I don't know how to do scripting and I still need to make the uncoupled coaler and both hoses.

Funny you should ask that question because I've been wanting to do a very similar operation myself but can't write script either.
I want my couplers to show no link and pin when they are sitting idle on a train car but will show up after they are coupled.

Is anyone here willing to help us out?

Thanks,
Rick

Have you seen the bluestar coupling system? It uses animated european couplers. There's some documentation about it in "CoupleStar bluestar coupling system support" on the DLS.
