One must first follow the moth in a helicopter, to lure it away from the flowers....

Then attack it with air-to-air missiles...

Can I use this equipment to hunt mosquitoes as well as moths?

Excellent work, Curtis!

Mosquitoes, being smaller, are generally better hunted from the ground. A bazooka works well to stun it, and it could then be finished off with a machine gun.

However, if you prefer attacking from the air, this might be a bit more sporting, as it's not as large as the others...

I can't take credit for most of the vehicles in this series - they are from a Vietnam game (www.eodmod.com) I worked on for a while. I got permission to bring them into Trainz when I left, but am just getting around to doing so.

Will it be released soon, and is it oprable?

What would you recommend for hunting field mice? I'm thinking a Patton, but you seem to be better versed in hunting critters.

Hmm, what to use for muskrat hunting? A Spooky?

Just static for now; I'd need a good pilot model (and more time than I want to spend on this) to make them operable.

A Patton would work well for field mice, but I was thinking more along the lines of a Centurion. Unfortunately, I misplaced that model, so I'll need to dig it up again.

Would this work for muskrats?

I'm not sure that has enuff dakka to get the job done. But, it could follow the muskrat wherever it may go. Maybe a combo M-60/PACV would get the job done. I wonder if the PACV platform could've supported an M-68 cannon? Or maybe a Sheridan could do the job... you wouldn't happen to have one stashed away, would you?

BTW, the PACV is a new one on me... now I want one (too bad there's only one left). I would say it's made of awesome!

The PACV was a blast to drive in the game. :) The round balls on the sides of the bow are 40mm grenade launchers - not sure if that's prototypical, but sometimes in a game, you just want things that go BOOM!

I played a WWIII RPG when I was a kid (Twilight: 2000). They had what looked to be a PACV with a tank turret; that would be a fun model to kitbash. Just what I need, more ideas of things to build ;)

Yes, the Sheridan will be coming soon(TM)*.

Cockroaches/Waterbugs would be a good match for a BMP, I think. Actually, since it's an Amphib, it would be good against the muskrat, too.

Yeah, the BMP is quite the versatile vehicle...

I was thinking black flies for this one, but it's kinda small. Perhaps gnats instead?

Whereas this little versatile number is equally at home attacking ground or air insects....

Just some reskins today. When I was working on that Vietnam game, one of the ideas I had was to reskin some of the models and do some maps based on the Arab-Israeli war of 1973. I was always partial to mechanized desert warfare, but I ended up leaving that game and coming to Trainz before I got very far with it.
