Questions about the Virginia & Truckee Railroad

Post by Carson & ColoradoFan »

I have a couple of questions about the V&T, Are you guys planning to build the Silver City branch of the V&T, and the line southward to Minden? And what time peroid are you guys making this route for?

Thanks,

1922-1924 or so. I keep bouncing around. I'll definitely include the route to Minden, and will include the area of the map to allow for the branch to Silver City. My hope is to get the track done according to the 1916 valuation surveys, then people can update or backdate to their own desires. I'm focusing on structures & rolling stock right now; hoping that we'll get 3m DEM coverage of northern Nevada sometime in the next couple of years.

Hello,

What kind of structures are you working on? Any mines by the chance, and how may are you making.
Also are you making the Eureka Mill railroad by any chance? I see you have content for that.

Thanks,

Right now, I'm working on bridges and structures around Steamboat; as well as a variety of stub switches for the new '09 track, and structures around the Carson yards. Yes, I plan on doing the Eureka mill, as well as the rest of the mills and mines along the route.
