Textures on Stub Turnouts

Post by hminky »

Just found your forum!

Love all your old time stuff, you are the reason I use Trainz. Your stuff even beats the stuff in Andre Ming's MSTS routes of TOC19.

Is it possible to re-texture the stub turnouts to match the 60 lb rail track. The 60 lb track is outstanding, it shows what TS2010 can be.

And will you ever do 36" track for TS2010, the present track doesn't match the wonderful locomotives and cars.

Your three way stub is just what I needed, I have DEMed a route and am begining to lay rail.

Thank you,
Harold

Hi Harold,

Thank you for the kind words. The brown 60 lb track is close to the turnout textures, but not exact.

I'm working on higher detailed turnouts to match the 60 lb track, but haven't completed them yet. Hopefully this year :)

Am using the 60 lb Brown with the turnouts and it matches. Thinking of attempting a re-skin to get a tie match.

Saw the new turnouts in the other thread, am anxiously awaiting them.

Thanks

Hello Harold,

May I say what route you are doing?
. . . the Railroad that "began
nowhar, ended nowhar, an' stopped
all night to think it over . . ."

I am doing an earlier era version of Andre Ming's MSTS Ozark Northern. I was messing around with TransDem using his MSTS .mkr files and am going from there. TransDem is great. I have added to the map. TransDem makes realistic route building easy.

I also did a terrain model in Railworks using ReDem and the MSTS data.
