No sound in Terry Bryson's Locomotives in TS12

Post by hminky »

I posted this over on the Auran forum but I don't think anyone there is interested. I get no sound with his locos.

I have changed sound, changed engine specs but no sounds in the Bowker or the General using TS12. Those are the only ones that I tried.

Hope someone here can help

Well, I did a little playing with the Bowker. Replacing the enginespec with a 2.9 version e-spec got me the pressure valve steam sounds, but not the chuff. I also noticed I couldn't get into the cab and use the cab view. All this was in DCC; I haven't tried cab mode yet.
So, my next step would be to play with the cab - maybe swap it with a cab from a working loco and see if that helps....

Thanks, Curtis, guess I will continue old time railroading in TS10.

Kind of a bump of an old thread but Terry has new versions of his engines for TS09-12 on the DLS!

The Texas, General, and Yonah are done and on the DLS and CM. Terry has said that the J.W. Bowker, and the I.E. James are in work and should be done soon.

Norm,

Is there a way to get a hold of Terry? I know what the original paint schemes for both of those locomotives should look like and would love to lend a hand with a proper textures. I can fill in the data for As built and 1880s-1900 service schemes, I'm a V&T modeler and have assisted Curtis with a few things. ;)

Terry responds quite quickly to PM's on the Auran site.

You may have noticed that the engine sounds still do not work in this release. I contacted Terry and he will be uploading a fix shortly.

I must say that there is a nice collection of standard gauge woodburners developing.

BTW Terry's latest update of the 4-4-0's seems to include more accurate fuel consumption (I think :? )
