The locomotive I got the sound folder from was cincysouthernrwy's "Southern Ms-1 2-8-2 6285" <kuid:45588:4796>

It appears that it is a repaint of Ben Neal's USRA 2-8-2 light but an older version than is currently available on his site now. (you might want to look at the script files there)

Cheers

Edit: Well I was on my way to bed when it dawned on me that I had not tried just plain deleting the script. Did you know that the engine sounds fine without the script? It does produce another script error due to the cab/fireman though. :cry:

Good morning trainboi1,

I think I have the script error solved for your A6.

What I did was remove the sound setup section of the steamlocomotive0905.gs believing that this was an old script and that its functionality had been incorporated into N3V's world.gs in some fashion.

Here is what you do;

Remove all lines in the script from

"thread void SoundSetup (void) {"
through
"} //end thread SoundSetup"

and remove the line
"SoundSetup();"
in the public void Init(void) section just below the soundsetup section.

You should test this more throughly than I have so far. Especially in CAB mode.

Note that you will not need the sound folder.

Well I took a look at the S&M #4 sounds and copying in the sound folder does help but there are yet more sound wav files missing.

"sound/5mph.wav"
"sound/7p5mph.wav"
...
"sound/20mph.wav"

Seven total, I spent some time searching for these with no luck.

I suspect that it is time to take a good look at the wiki and see how these should be properly implemented rather than just thrashing about with old stuff cut and pasted in.

BTW the #4 sounds rather amazing with just the files available but you will need to change the stroke numbers in the gs to match the wav file names in two places.

I only just figured out how to edit scripts. Now to test those engines...
Anyway, when I've tweaked the engine to my desires I'll update the Atlantics. There's some other work that needs doing on the #4 so I won't upload an update for it until it's done. I will update US Plywood #11 though.

Sorry that the tenders are cut off, the images seem to be larger than the forum can handle...

Nevada County Narrow Gauge #9 has a preliminary texture, I may well be working with a friend in Australia for weathering, and working to get this asset as good as I can.

SPNG #1 coming soon, I still have to map some things to get NCO #14 though.

I am curious how you are making ALL SPNG boxes, when they aren't all the same length... ;)

Woops, sorry. Forgot about the others. Just the 28-footers, thanks for pointing that out. Although it would be possible to do all of them...
... but nah, only made the 28-footers. I do have drawings for the C&C pipe boxcars but didn't bother making them after converting the perlite car(which I had plans for) back into the regular 28-foot boxcar(which I didn't).

That makes much more sense. There are still variations among that, but a 28' is good enough. Ironicaly, pipe boxes and flats are on my todo list after I finish the next round of projects. I have a ton of info on the cars, they are among my favorite C&C cars, after the two classes of ventilated boxcars (30' and 40'). Among my next projects will be to do the early form of the cars, as Carter 28' boxcars early on. By the time the cars were drawn in the 1950s, they were hardly the same car. During the 1920s I believe, the entire fleet was rebuilt with heavier framing and their tonnage rating increased from 20k to 40k. Cars were also raised to ride taller and then received any number of a variety of freight trucks. At the start (Tonopah Boom), the cars came from a variety of western roads and from at least 5 different car builders. If you need any information on these cars, let me know.
