Something I have always loved (since I found out about them) are polish railways, everything in general, narrow gauge in particular. This particular route is 600mm (2ft) and std gauge. Both steam locos are payware.
Waiting for the OK to proceed is the tiny class px38 0-8-0t+t while an ex-german kriegslok 2-10-0 lumbers by with a short frieght in the background.

This is interesting, Sam. Although I'm not into RR routes outside the USA, it looks pretty good.

Heres another picture:
This time its from the logging transefer area, the steamer waits while the "lawnmower" switches(or shunts) the log cars (wagons as they call them in poland) around the loading area. I love the logging roads, whether here or abroad.

EDIT: by the way, if anyone is interested in those steam locos, they can be found here: http://steamlocomotiveworks.com/ but they are payware. The diesel can be found here: http://www.trainz.hu/ but you need to register.
