I know this should probably be in the V&T route forum, but it seems like nobody ever checks that forum these days.
I've been making a HO tabletop version of the V&T layout in TS09! It's a simple oval layout that goes from Virginia City to Reno and back. I accurately recreated the VC yard and roundhouse area, and use the towns' respective buildings. Maybe you guys could use it as a demo layout to promote the V&T route!

HO V&T Layout
Re: HO V&T Layout
Happy New Year Jayo
Looks okay so far. I'm guessing it's a WIP right now. So, when you say it's a DEMO
route, does that mean you'll release it before it's finished and that the complete
route is forthcoming ??
I'm never real sure what folks mean when they say 'demo route'. Shouldn't it be
released once it is completed ??

Re: HO V&T Layout
Well, it's mostly complete, but it is intended to be fairly basic. Sorry to confuse you guys about it being a demo.
The route itself is not a demo, but it could be used as such in relation to the V&T route project as a whole. To put it simply, consider pencil's V&T layout. My little layout can give a little sampling of what pencie's route will be! You know, like the Modula City DEMO in TRS06!
If nothing else, mine is a fun little tabletop V&T layout!

Looking good, Jayo! Did you want prototypical track arrangements in Reno and Carson City? I can send you a couple of maps, if so.
Re: HO V&T Layout
Sure, I could use them!

Hi folks,
Been away for a while in the land of "computer problems" (A week and a bit without Trainz.....arrrrhhhhhh!)
...so a belated Happy New Year to all!
Curtis,
I've got two plans of Carson City in various books but have never seen a copy of the actual layout at Reno.
Any chance you can send me a copy too please? You wouldn't happen to also have the plan for Minden, would you?
Thanks in anticipation,
Cheers,
Dreadnought1

Oops!
I completely forgot - yes, I have Minden also. I'll send them both to you shortly.
