With some help from Vulcan, the aircraft script is now functional. The wings no longer dig into the ground on curves while taxiing, and the tail doesn't start to rise until you get to about 40 mph. At about 60 mph, the tail stops rising and the aircraft remains level up to its top speed of around 110 mph. Next to do - finish the model; let's see if I can do that before another year passes :)

Hi Curtis
I has been a while since I have done anything with my project. It's nice to see that you are still
trudging along with a small idea of mine and so far as I see it, I surely appreciate your work.
I have not tested the CDP that you just sent, however, it shall not be long.
I still would like to see a module of a crop duster scenario with at least two planes.
(Dreaming - one day soon............

I'll be back.

Hi Ken,

I'm planning to do a Jenny model as well (some day - given how long this one has taken, I wouldn't hold my breath!) The Jenny might have better flight characteristics for crop dusting - it's top speed is about the stall speed of the DH-4 :)

Got the shadow working. It really adds to the sense of flying....

I love what you're doing Curtis. Keep up all that you do.
I have laid by the wayside for the last six months and have not
ran the SIM since about Christmas. I still would like to finish building
the route I began about two years ago but everything else has gotten in the way.

I would love to hear from you again when you get further along and I will make a test and
get another module going. I have not forgotten.

Sounds good, Ken.
I got a little more time this weekend, and now have the propeller and the windscreen done, as well as a slight smoke effect coming from the engine. I also have 3 lods working. As soon as I finish the rigging and get a pilot in there, I'll send it over for you.
I'm still not happy with the rib effect on the texture; I'll also likely redo that.....
