Well folks,
We're a bit ahead of the rest of the world time-wise so at 08:50 on 25 December, it's fairly quiet here in train control on the early shift and we've just broken out the Chocolate Santas!
To all the members of the forum, thanks for the posts that made us smile, gave us a laugh, shared our concerns, helped us fix our little Trainzy problems or just made us impatient to try out some of the amazing Trainz assets for which we've seen screenshots...
To the asset creators, you have our collective thanks for all your work. Your shared creations are appreciated by all.
Wishing everyone everywhere all the best for the season and a happy and prosperous 2008.
Cheers,
Frank

Re: Season Greetings to all!
That reminds me...
I made this little thing one day when I was bored and hot. I planned to release it for Christmas and almost forgot.

Yes, Its a 30" narrow gauge snow globe. That porter will look great on this. I will try to get this uploaded somewhere before tomorrow night, although I am a bit busy.
Merry Christmas,
Paul

Here is the map.

There are only a few dependencies and I think all of them are on the DLS.
I have a few hints that might be useful to know when using this.
-Ignore the red and green arrows. They are usually wrong. Just use the target on the switch stand.
-Turn off particle effects (slider under performance settings) Smoke just doesn't look right in a snow globe, and it might cause "global" warming.
-use small engines like some of Ben's lokeys or Curtis's porter. Anything else looks terrible.
-If for some reason you want to use cabin mode on this you are insane.
-I didn't rename it to something more logical, so look for "Xmas bubble" or something like that.
Enjoy!,
Paul
