With some textures... Still need to render the textures to a map, then add details and shadowing.

This is great news. I have wanted a small flour mill for ages now, and you've certainly done justice to the quintessential flour mill here.

Well done, man. Keep up the good work, and have fun while I run around like a chicken with its head cut off because school's out.

Thanks! I'm hoping to work my way through all the versions through time - at least up until 1950 - by October; although it'll probably take until after that to get them optimized for Trainz (fewer texture sheets; unique textures w/ baked AO, etc).

Got a British loco uploading to the DLS and now updating another one to the same standards. Also getting YVRR #21 ready for textures.

Hope you have a good summer(conveniently, today is the literal first day of summer) as well.

Hey Curtis et al:
There's a program called Crazybump that y'all might be interested in. It creates displacement, specular and normal maps based on a diffuse texture, to good effect as shown here with a little test on YVRR #21:

The sort of wavy shine is the work of the specular map, which has noise automatically ingrained to order, and the incredibly convincing bolt line and smooth number plate are the work of the normal. Take a look at it, it's basically an easy, quick way to make things look spectacular.

Thanks! I've used CrazyBump in the past, but I'm slow enough I don't get much done in the 30-day eval period (and I haven't convinced myself to spend the $99 for the registered version).
Every time I build a new machine, however, I try it out again

It really does do a much better job than the NVidia plug-in.

I got some more pictures when I was down in Minden last weekend, which answered a few questions...
