Alright, you asked...
Of all the years I've been on the net, I've never hailed and 'colors'. Being the skinner that I am, I could've made one a long time ago if I did. Sooo, since you asked, it isn't something I've been wanting in my life.
I frequent a lot of boards and they all have their dimension restrictions and I would have to resize this thing for each board I visit.

I hate to pop your balloon, although your work is great, but I'm not sure I want to do all that.

I just threw this thing together. It's supposed to be a signalman's shack and belongs in the desert area of my route.

It's supposed to be slapped together with scrap parts from town.

I may have to blend the textures together a little better, or not...

Yeo, kit-bash king, can you add an attachment point for smoke then go ahead and spit it out the door?

Sure, we'd have to experiment with the gravity to get it to come out the door.

There is a tag for smoke involving the effects of gravity, wind, etc. Unless you can control the wind in game, we'd have to rely on gravity to make it look convincing.

Oooooo, I meant out of the stovepipe but, once you do that, I don't think I can do anymore to it cause we can't seem to export and import reliably to each other, yet.

I was going to mention that later. The email that you haven't gotten yet, probably take another couple of weeks, contains another mesh I'd like you to try (Not as complicated). The only exporter I can find is the one for QuakeIII and WILL NOT export textures, so even if you were able to import it back into 3DC, you'd have to re-texture it.

Not sure how this will work so, here goes.
The model is done, as far as I'm concerned.
Can you re-writ the config file for smoke, also?
If so, I'll send you the .3ds file, you add smoke and you go ahead and release it, since you can't export back to me as of yet.

How's all that sound?

Or, I guess you can Gmax it out into the game, package it up, then send it back to me that way... (Sometime within the next few weeks or so. LOLOLOL)

How about I write the config file, add the smoke tag and attachment point and send you back it to you as a .cdp? Then you can play with the smoke color, speed, amount, until you like it. The question is, how long will it take to get back to you? Should I try the gmail?
