The AntiChrist Letter (to be found in Gallery)

Post by meconicuk »

Hi All.

I've recently noticed there's been an upsurge in the 'sour grapes ' comments levelled against Paul Mace (on the Trainz Forum).

Some of them seem to stem from jealousy, others from an intense
dislike of anything linked to Payware and of course the old favourite: "let's throw rocks at an easy target".

I've been useing Paul as my Builder for just under a year. I know there's
not a chance in hell I could have built the Loco's/Stock for my Project
myself so I've used a Payware source in the same way that Railway Companies would have bought their Stock from Baldwins/Beyer Peacock
in the 19th/20th centuries.

I find he consistantly dellivers my requirements despite a lack of data or
instructions on my part.

My Project is about half way through; so I'll be buying in more Stock in 2008( assuming the economic crash doesn't kick in).

One thing I am going to start doing myself; is building Mid 19th Century Structures to run my circa 1854 trains on.
Mac.

Nothing wrong with commissioning models - it take more than one person to build a route, especially if everything has to be created from scratch :)
