The trucks are just placeholders; I have a set of steel-bolstered archbars in progress.
Any comments on details, etc? This is a little bit outside what I've been working on lately :)

Nice! I say make the running board a bit wider, and possibly make the door wider. I'll need to check some drawings to get a door and running board width for you.

Now, this is real sweet, Curtis. :D I like that! (I won't have to re-skin these. )

Those do look nice! I usually don't download much SG stuff, but I think this is a must have! 8) I think these trucks actually look kinda nice under it though.

Thanks, Ben for any additional dimensions. Current overall dimensions are: 36' long, 9' wide, and 12'9" rail to top of running boards.

And, for you narrow-minded people;

It's a 24' long, 36" gauge flatcar. I'm aiming for a semi-generic Carter Brothers car, ca 1880's / 1890's. It's shown sitting on a set of Slugsmasher's trucks (that it will probably keep.)

This will support cordwood, as well as some of the other generic flatcar loads.

Okay, I got some dimensions. The roof walk should be 1.5 feet wide, side doors should be 5 feet wide.

That's a little beauty of a NG flatcar!

One question: If the Auran general goods loads are set up for it, will they be horizontal like some of the other NG cars or vertical? I always think the vertical ones look extremely unstable (especially seeing there's no stapping or guy-wires). I know you can't load as many but it does look more realistic.

Cheers,

Still need to do some texturing on the trucks, but otherwise, I think it's getting close....

Very very nice!

It appears that the lower side corner brace is one pixle off. (Too low.) :(
