Outstandin'
The bigger the barrel, the bigger the sound, I always say........lolol
Once they're up, let me know and I'll make one up for everyone
to check out before I send it upstream.

Here's another asset you may be interested in. Let me know.

It's a crooked fence post with rocks. You add the grass and weeds and stuff.

The barrels are posted in all the usual places.

These are some great assets thegrindre! You should make some fence splines to go along with these.
I'm going to be making some more old west stuff, now that school is out for me.
Keep up the great work!

Ah, yes - a fence spline with crooked posts would be nice :)
Looking good, Rick!

I've thought the same thing but I haven't got a clue how to make a spline. LOL

Rick
Remember that book I sent you "Content Creators Guide"?
It should have outlines and parameters about making splines.
I think they usually start out with some kind of picture. Not real sure.

Nope, I haven't forgotten about that baby. It's always open and right by my side. Not everything is all that clear, though.

Thanks,
:D

Hi Rick, others,

Making splines:

A spline is a repeating mesh kind of, and is real easy to make really.

In the modeling program (I'm used to gmax, but the principle should work all other places)

Start your mesh with at Y=0 and centered such that the center of the mesh is at X=0
Build it down such that the length of the spline extend in the negative Y direction - making the end of the mesh with a negative numbered Y - for instance Y=-10 if the model is a 10m long wall.

Rest is done with the config file.

Piece of cake. ;)

Good luck guys

Linda

Hi Rick,

Not sure, I haven't finished of anything lately due to lack of the most important thing for me, a good feel.

I hoped a few weeks back that things would become better and that Trainz and gmax would become better friends with me again, but right now it don't seem to happen.

Your gentle nudge(s) do help though, because you actually got me to think if I had a item or two that I could release and see if anybody noticed.
But, alas, I didn't find anything that didn't need some work, oh well - I guess I can use the Auran "Soon" instead.

Thanks for the support!

Linda

I understand completely, Linda. I have the same feeling sometimes.
I'm a fan of yours, I love your work so, I'll just sit tight and wait...

Have fun!
