Leith North 1853.

I've just sent off a wad of drawings/photo's to my 'Builder' for an early Victorian dockside station.

As most of the buildings on the ordinance map are 'long gone'; I've had to design the railway structures from scratch.

Add things like signals, advertising.etc and it's a large job.

I'll post up images in gallery as/if it takes shape.

Sounds brilliant Mac. I look forward to seeing the results. Are you going to have shipping?

Thanks for encouragement Curtiss & Colin.

Re' Shipping: Yes there will be individual vessels(Train Ferry,Dredger, etc)
plus I want to try and portray the feeling of seeing a 'Forest of Masts' above a roofline of warehouses.

I'm going to have to have another shot at understanding how to use G-Max
for makeing structures. The first time I downloaded it was a total disaster!

Know what you mean about Gmax Mac. I wish they would talk to normal people rather than Computer Programmers when they design these programs. It is obvious that they make the methods of doing things overly complex and not at all intuitive. They could really use some help from the people who have to use the product. If you have the time and finances I hope you are able to come to the Convention in October next year and can meet face to face and pass on what you have done of your route.
