Santa Fe 4-4-0, another view124 viewsAnother view. The model it's based on had a black cab and tender, but I decided to leave them maroon. I did this for 3 reasons:
-First, to make it easier to distinguish them when working in the .tga files.
-Also because Santa Fe ultimately used red as the corporate colors.
-And Finally, because it's representing a time before engines were left black!jayoFeb 04, 2009

Santa Fe 4-4-0166 viewsA reskin of Ben's Genoa in fictional Santa Fe livery. I first saw a picture of IHC's HO scale ATSF 4-4-0 number 2 in an ad in Model Railroader, and I thought it looked really nice, and always wanted to add it to what few Santa Fe pieces I had. Since IHC's model was based off of the AHM/Rivarossi Genoa model, Ben's Genoa would similarly be a good basis for my relettering! jayoFeb 04, 2009

Virginia City105 viewsAs a tribute to this project, and the people who made models for it, I thought I'd try my hands at recreating the V&T in HO scale on a tabletop! It's a circular layout with the towns of Reno and Virginia City, and as as many of the buildings and structures I could find for them! Here is Virginia City!jayoJan 01, 2009
