What could have been 1149 viewsA general overview of the Southeastern Railway Museum under my display plan. This plan probably will not happen, mostly because there is too much emphasis on some silly projects (Park Train and Duluth Run, anyone?), and not enough on preserving the equipment for the future. I tried suggesting an earlier version before I quit, and found heavy opposition. I may offer up this version, too, but I still doubt it'd happen. I'm curious what people outside of that museum think of the plan, so please let me know.bdaneal

What could have been 2137 viewsThis shows building 2 as I would utilize it - as a display building for freight trains only. There is a progression in eras from 1920s to 1950s to 1980s. Ideally, there'd be a cover for the SD40-2 and its train, but I was too lazy to set one up. You can also see the new train loading platform to the right, which is a lean-to off of the passenger train shed.bdaneal

What could have been 3133 viewsThis has long been a main element of my plans - a large display building. This one, which is based on the Augusta, GA trainshed, is the display area for passenger trains only. I've noticed a whole lot of random intermixing of freight and passenger and wanted to get rid of it. I also have a progression in eras, from 1920s to 1950s to 1980s. As if that weren't enough, each string is a fully fledged (albeit selectively compressed) passenger train, with baggage or RPOs all the way to Solarium Lounges and open end Observation cars.bdaneal

What could have been 4115 viewsAt the far end of the train ride sits a small village, which would probably be made of replica buildings as opposed to moving real ones. Yes... I would have left the Duluth depot in the park and built a replica of a smaller depot instead.bdaneal

What could have been 5119 viewsThe main reason for using relatively few tracks and buildings - so that photographs could be taken and look like a few decades ago. This shot, except for the Model As could be from anytime in the 1940s to 1970s or so.bdaneal

30ng 4-8-4178 viewsAnother one of those "eh, why the hell not" models. Unfortunately, the most recent save corrupted, so I have a bit of work to redo.bdaneal

USRA Light 2-8-2209 viewsI don't care what you THINK is the most needed steam engine for Trainz. As far as US steam is concerned, this is it.
Not too shabby for having started it less than 23 hours ago.bdaneal

4-4-0 with grey boiler224 viewsI told you I would.bdaneal

30ng 4-4-0231 viewsThe problem with kitbashes - after a while, they all start to look alike. I'll do something to the texture to make it different from the 4-6-0. Probably a green boiler jacket, though I have always wanted a NP-esque gray boiler jacket.bdaneal

30ng articulated291 viewsWhy the heck did I make this? Well, at least I only spent four hours on it. I'm sure someone will use it.bdaneal

30ng Prairie234 viewsWhat happens when you drop one driver from a 2-8-2 and shrink the boiler? You get a 2-6-2. I think this would make a decent switcher.bdaneal

30ng 4-6-0215 viewsPretty much a 30 inch gauge version of Southern Railway N-6, mixed with a few elements of a D&RGW T-12.bdaneal
