Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
No worries about the turntable; I'm in no hurry. Yes, I think we could make that water tank industry interactive; it wouldn't be much problem; even with loading it from the pump house track. If you are interested, give me the distance between the tracks and I'll see what I can do. The route is looki...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Looking forward to it! Yes, the turntable should replace the old one automagically, though it might be open for edit in CM.

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Looking really nice! For the water tower, it should be possible to load it from one track (the one with a water car) and unload onto another track. Should be a minor script. What water tank would you like modified? And do you have any images of said steam pump house? I've made some tweaks to the tur...

I'm sorry to hear about your computer problems and the loss of some of your files, but the locomotives are looking great!

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
OK, here's the standard gauge version; I'll see what I can do with respect to dual gauge in the next couple o' days

Let me know if I need to change the material type (add a normal map, etc) to better match the ground texture......

Re: Union Pacific Flat Cars
OK, making (slow) progress - the bolster is better now; as is the flat deck....
Sitting on CP trucks for now, but that too will be fixed....- Wed Apr 20, 2016 7:46 pm

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Ah, ok - when I make the tan dirt one, do you want it 3' gauge or standard gauge?

For the turntable, if you'd like, send me the kuid of the ground texture you'd like to match and I can reskin it for you.

Re: Consolidate to PacificNG forums?
I would think we could just use the existing Digital Modelling forum.

Consolidate to PacificNG forums?
I've been thinking about this for a while, and was wondering what you all think about consolidating these forums to the PacificNG forums (http://www.pacificng.com/forum/index.php)? This forum (aside from the last couple of days) doesn't get a whole lot of traffic; and there's a fair amount of potent...

Re: Union Pacific Flat Cars
Thanks! White's freight car book has a nice drawing of a similar bolster. It appears to sit a little lower than the Kimball one; not sure if I should raise the flat so it sits on the trucks the same way, or decrease the diameter of the wheels so the truck sits lower.... I may also be able to take so...

Re: Union Pacific Flat Cars
OK, thanks! The bolster design looks a little different than the Kimball version, and my brake wheel looks too big. Also, it looks like there might be brakes on only one of the two trucks, or am I just missing something?

Re: Union Pacific Side Door Cabooses
Those look like they'd be a pretty easy modification of the V&T car (and probably why my existing UP caboose looks like it does). Colors?

Re: Union Pacific Flat Cars
I. Hate. You.
So do you think only 2x center sills, for a total of 4? All the flat designs I've seen have had 6x sills, including the contemporary 24' V&T flats built by Kimball. Not that anyone looks underneath these models anyway
