Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Well I must admit defeat. I have gotten the RGS#20 tender into TS12SP1 OK but one dependency of the locomotive, RGS #20 Frame,<kuid:43955:50046>, baffles me. It works fine in TANE but not in TS2010, TS12, or TS12SP1. The error is Error: Texture 'rgs20_b.texture' is missing or could not be loaded in...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Got a few more quick updates for ya'll! First up is the new, res-skinned depot courtesy of PacificCoastBorax! http://orig13.deviantart.net/bc67/f/2016/134/0/a/ballarat_depot_by_gunslinger87-da2fbmt.jpg This depot was originally one by Fitz505 and was his ATSF2StoryDepot. I've contacted him via the N...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Much Obliged!! I'm still playing around with town structures and all. That's actually pretty challenging since many of the buildings were adobe, mud, or brick. And historic photos are pretty much non-existant. So I'm heavily relying on Craig's rendition on his model railroad as a guide. I also need ...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
FINALLY! I have reached Ballarat, California!! :D http://orig04.deviantart.net/d9d3/f/2016/134/e/a/arival_at_ballarat_by_gunslinger87-da2fbn2.jpg A more appropriately skinned depot is on the way, but for now this one will do. So yes, I've made it to Ballarat as my last message stated, but this time ...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
WHOOOO!!!! I made it to Ballarat!!!! *does happy dance* Although only just. Like I litterally brough the track in and slapped down the roundhouse, platform and depot. In short it's a mess, but I'm there! I don't have any screenshots yet, but I'll post some here once I do. Still need to refine ...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
I can probably replace the sound files for the locomotive to fix that issue. And hopefully it will run in TRS12.
As for the speed, the M&P has a top speed limit of 20mph. Though I may chand that to 25. Either way that loco's top speed fits easily within that window.

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Kind of a shame no one has made any more 3ft gauge Ten-Wheelers for Trainz. Like the D&RGW's T-12 locos or even the ones used by the SPNG in the Owens Valley. Which I suspect are what nspired the 4-6-0 on Craig Tice's loco roster, seeing there was a lot of inspiration and influence from the N-C-...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Looks great and sounds like you are having fun. I love the caboose. Thanks, and yea I am enjoying myself. And part of it is figuring out where and how to lay the grade. I also think I may have miss lettered some of the mileposts. I may have accidentally skipped milepost 26 and labled it as 27. So I...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
MILE POST 30!!!! Well actually a bit further than that, but I have yet to fully grade the track there. So I'm probably somewhere between 30 and 31 miles of track so far. Not bad for a 34-ish mile long railroad! ALMOST THERE!!!! Anyway, so yes, progress has been made recently. I've graded t...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
No worries about the turntable; I'm in no hurry. Yes, I think we could make that water tank industry interactive; it wouldn't be much problem; even with loading it from the pump house track. If you are interested, give me the distance between the tracks and I'll see what I can do. The route is look...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Curtis, I think I've installed the updated turntable, but I haven't gotten a chance to really take a good look at it in-game. So sorry about that. But in the mean time here are a couple of other shots I've taken of the summit and part of the line on the norther slopes of the Slate Range mount...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Looking really nice! For the water tower, it should be possible to load it from one track (the one with a water car) and unload onto another track. Should be a minor script. What water tank would you like modified? And do you have any images of said steam pump house? I've made some tweaks to the tu...

Re: The Mojave & Panamint Railroad
Well it is a GREAT day on the Mojave & Panamint RR, seeing as I have FINALLY reached Slate Range Pass!! HUZZAH!!! http://orig01.deviantart.net/82bf/f/2016/117/3/6/slate_range_pass_by_gunslinger87-da0h14y.jpg Here we see one of the M&P Veterans, Ole' #2 waiting at the small depot at the...
