Have you ever wanted to re-skin but didn't know how?

Post by thegrindre »

I've just completed a bare bones re-skinning tutorial for dummies and would like to invite all those beginners/wanna-bees who want to re-skin to give this tutorial a try.

(Please note: You old hands at this won't learn a thing so don't bother looking, unless of course you want too.)

I would like to give thanks to Col Hogan for helping me edit this work. He's opened my eyes to a few things I've over looked or didn't know. (Thanks, Ken)

So, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and to all my fans and fannies, heeeeeeeere's the link;

Looks like a popular tutorial - your site's bandwith has been exceeded :)
I can host it here, if you'd like? I've been meaning to add a tutorial section, anyway...

Sure, Curtis. Thanks a bunch. What do you need?

It's working now, btw. I guess I'm on an hourly thing which will probably be a monthly thing I'm sure. :lol:

It worked when I tried just now, so I have everything I need. I'll try and get this up this weekend, but it might be early next week.

Thanks, everybody.
The download button is now working. It's in .pdf format so you'll need Adobe Reader to read the download version.

If you can't access my site you will have to wait about an hour because my hourly bandwidth is used up. Sorry, it's a free site and I have to deal with their rules.

WOW!!! Great job, Curtis. If you'd like to host the hard copy version also, hit my DL button at my site or I could just as easily send it to you via e-mail. (It's all zipped up either way.)

Thanks a million,
Rick

Sure - that would be fine. I couldn't download it from your site yesterday, so maybe email would be best.
