Hi guys, and especially Curtis,
When grouping parts together for ease of moving, hiding, etc., then ungrouping, each parts origin, handle, whatever you call the x,y thingy that shows when you select it, moves. How do I move it back either to the center of the object, or close to it? I've seen it in the help files, but I can't find it now. My wife accuses me of not looking, but I did! Probably not the right name. Thanks for any help.

You can move the pivot point of an object if thats what your talking about.
Go to the hierarchy tab 3rd to the right and click affect pivot only. Then you can move, rotate, it or center it with the the buttons below.

Thanks lilb, I knew it was something simple I was missing. They call it pivot point. Guess I really should buy that gmax bible.
