Well, this is officially my last post...
After some very lengthy though an consideration have decided I am leaving the forum. First of all, I would like to say that it was certainly not an easy decision to make. However it was nothing anyone here has said or any way any individual has acted. Also the way Curtis runs this board has nothing ...

Re: My 3DC locomotives in 3' NG
Ooooo.... I like it! By-the-way... I just visited Seadro Wooly (WHAT A NAME!) a few weeks ago, and they have the Old Skagit Steel and Iron works there, they built logging equipment of all shapes and sizes and I got a lot of pictures of donkey engines, yarders, and even one steam locomotive! I could ...

Re: Animated stub switch proof-of-concept
With all this talk about stub switches when I saw this picture I just had to share it: http://vilda.alaska.edu/cdm4/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=/cdmg2&CISOPTR=2790&REC=5&DMSCALE=100&DMWIDTH=1440&DMHEIGHT=2000 Look at the lower left hand corner. Its a single point stub! Sam EDIT: Wel...

Re: The Railway and Tramways of Venezuela
In the third picture from the top is that a steam engine I see lurking in the shadows? Thanks for the link, in fact I'm currently working on a model RR (HO/HOn3 scale) set in South America, and I'l have to include something like this in it! Sam P.S. I found this to be very very interesting: http://w...

Re: 3DC rolling stock in 3' NG
Yeah, I tried that track myself. I got the usual framerates in the areas with nothin' (just grid) and ohh, maybe 3 FPS in areas with trees and buildings. The stuff looks so nice though.... Why, it even looks better than my HOn3 micro-engineering flex track! Say, ya' know, I just had an i...
