Curtis,
I don't know whether this has been mentioned before (but I did do a quick search of the forum) so apologies if it has...
I placed one of the 57-footer TTs on a layout (it was the 3ft version) only to notice that the lead tracks other than the main entry/exit are off-center.
The further they are from the main lead, the further they point away from the center of the turntable.
I then loaded up the versions in the other gauges and found they had the same issue.
Cheers,

You are correct! No-one has ever mentioned that (and I had never noticed before, either!)
Thanks!

Re: 57' Iron Turntables
Curtis,
I hope I'm not pushing things too far but as we're revisiting the 57-footers, any chance of a version with only the main entrance/exit leads (just one on each side) please?
It'd be useful for those small depots/termini without a shed. The 57's are just the ticket for those shortlines!
Thanks & Cheers!

Re: 57' Iron Turntables
Sure, I'll add that to the list
edit: which gauge(s) are you looking for?
edit 2: it looks like I can fix the turntables, but it will break any routes that are depending on them - the track will need to be re-connected. I think I'll do a new (fixed) version with more detail, and mark it as 2.9 - that way it won't break any existing routes. How does that sound?

Curtis,
Sounds good - I like your thinking!
As for gauges, 30", 36" and SG if that's OK...

Re: 57' Iron Turntables
OK, here's a new set of turntables:
http://carsoncarshops.com/files/turntable_test.cdp
These are iron turntables, but a slightly updated model than what I used for the 57' ones. These ones are 65' long, and should fit Ben's generic locos a bit better. I did a single track and an 8 track version in 30", 36", and standard gauge. Please let me know how they work, and if the pit ground texture will work.

Re: 57' Iron Turntables
Look good and work well. The pit texture is also good to match up with a lot of the textures I'd use.
Thanks & Cheers!

OK cool! I'll stick them on the DLS, then.
