Edit: Updated file with cylinder dimensions http://www.mediafire.com/?4xunz3u7ak4ffn1 Central Pacfic Railway Company Engine Roster 2.csv
This is a comma delimited spreadsheet which should import into whatever spreadsheet program you are using.
It contains the Road Number, Locomotive Name, Type (4-4-0 etc.), Driver diameter in inches, Builder, Builder Number, Date Built, Weight, Effort, 1981 Renumber, and remarks and my comments. The basis is from the 1998 Encyclopedia of Western Railroad History with some modifications by myself. This is not the entire Central Pacific roster, just those engines which were named and as such covers, more or less, 1861 through the mid 1870s. There are about 200 engines listed.

Enjoy!
As time goes by I hope to expand this to include cylinder diameter and stroke for each engine as I can determine them.
And, as always seems to happen, I've stumbled on this http://cprr.org/Museum/Locomotives/Name ... ives_2.pdf which contains most if not all of the Cylinder/Stroke information I'll need.
