2018 News:
December 4th, 2018
I uploaded a new set of railroad crossing gates. These should be usable for anything set in the first half
of the 20th century. In finishing the crossing gates, I realized the boardwalk spline needed a rail crossing
piece, so I made that (and in doing so, converted the boardwalk splines to PBR).
I updated the grass fill spline to PBR textures and added a couple of versions to match the other fill
splines.
Finally, the Central Pacific subsistence car is now in-game; though it still needs a little cleanup.

The first batch of the new TRS 2019 track is now on the DLS along with the matching ground textures. I'm
also making good progress on some Central Pacific and Union Pacific rolling stock for the Promontory
display.

I fixed an issue with the cordwood product, and uploaded it to the DLS. I also updated the fill splines to
PBR textures
and snow support.
I'm now in the process of updating / uploading new PBR procedural track; along with matching ground
textures.

I've finally finished and uploaded three versions of the Minden Heidelberg hotel.
I also converted my mail, baggage, and express products to use the new PBR materials for TRS 2019.

The CP director's car is largely done, though I'm making adjustments as new information comes along. The UP
passenger car is coming along nicely, and I've started work on the CP subsistence car. I updated the link to
Onderdunk's gallery to point to the wayback machine; as the original is no longer on the Kalomp art
gallery's site.
Finally, I've updated the new freight car truck wheels to have a 3D back.

With the UP caboose essentially completed, I've started in on two passenger cars; one UP and one CP. I've
also upgraded the gallery software to a new package, as the old one had been unsupported for several years
now. It doesn't (yet) match the rest of the site, but someday....

The rebuild of the UP caboose is just about done. It's my first full model using the new PBR textures. I've
also started work on a route set around the Golden Spike ceremony 149 years ago last May.
Follow the progress over at the
PacificNG
forums.
I also (finally!) finished a simple model of a hand cart in three different colors. They should be on the
DLS within a day or so.

I've been working on some sample PBR materials for use in some new train cars - the old UP and CP rolling
stock first.
